The Cow Pea Lives!
I've dubbed them Cow Peas because I think they're actually animal feed grade peas. It's almost like some farmer took a wrong turn on the way to the elevator and ended up at the kitchen's back door. Maybe they got a really good deal on the peas or something...I mean, how can you screw up peas?
Anyhow, the main entree was baked ham with pineapple, potato wedges and cow peas. I don't generally eat pork or cooked pineapple so I opted for the salad. However, the reviews of the daily feature were less than stellar. The salad was okay...except that some people whined, so now the dressing is served on the side (this is a specialty salad, you realize, with only one real dressing option). On a scale of 1 to 10, it was about a 4.
The ice water was good.
